Rescue and Emergency Care (REC 1)

This course is designed for people who enjoy a day out and do not venture to far from the urban environments. A one day course with minimum time of 8 hours content This is the first step into the progressive REC first aid awards that enable you to feel comfortable in a rural or remote settings to dealing with a first aid incident.

As you progress through REC qualifications you will gain more confidence and skills in dealing with remote emergencies. REC is recognised by many governing sports body, canoeing,
mountaineering, sailing to name but a few.

Health, Safety and Welfare. Principles of First Aid.
Vital Signs. Basic Body Organs and function.
Safety. Casualty Care.
Safe Airway Position Blocked Airway
Choking Rescue Breathing
Serious Bleeding and Wound Management Heart Conditions
Cardio Pulmonary Resususitation (CPR) Scenarios practical
